What's Happening:

Ayurvedic Indian Vegan Cooking Class

with Gita Sharma

Saturday 4 July, 2015, 10.00am - 3.00pm in South Hobart

Cost: $35.00 ($30 concession)

Gita is very knowledgeable in Ayurveda, the 'science of long life' and the role nutrition plays in overall physical, mental and emotional health. She will demonstrate how to cook the following delicious entrees, main courses and dessert:

Entree: Vegetable Pakora (cauliflower, broccoli and onions
dipped in a chick pea batter and fried); Tomato Aachar (tomato, garlic, ginger and chilli chutney)

Main Course: Chick Pea Curry; Khichiri (rice and mung beans cooked together with herbs)

Dessert: Carrot Halwa (carrot cooked with various spices)

Sit down to eat at the end of the class or bring containers if you would like to take your food home.
